About Nicholas Wilby
Based near Norwich, Norfolk in the UK : Nicholas Wilby concentrates
on creating images of Norfolk and Suffolk but also enjoys macro
photography (Flora & Fauna). Regular submissions are made to
Stock Picture Libraries.
Most of the photographs included on this website have been taken
with a Canon Digital SLR camera using lenses covering 28 -
105mm. The standard lens (favourite) used is a Tamron 28 - 75 mm
(f/2.8) which seems to cover most situations very well. The upper
zoom focal distance is covered by the extremely good 70-200mm
Canon 'L' series lens (f/4.0) plus 1.4X convertor for airshows. A
number of primes make up the kit as they are not only faster but
also force composition via movement of the feet. Macro
photography is covered by the use of Sigma 50mm & 180mm lenses
which also have good optics.
I have been involved with Digital Photography since 2005 and am
involved in Freelance photography through stock libraries.
